“Joining forces with photographer Chris Hornbecker and several of Portland’s favorite upcoming artists, musicians, fashion designers, and directors we crafted a story about personal vision. We developed and crafted Chris’s idea of illuminating and capturing a word onto an artist into a photographic narrative, rich with meaning. Each artist picked a word with a personal connection to his or her art and personal vision. Love, Faith, Surrender, Mooreeffoc were a few of the words the artists selected. Our team created giant 8×4 foot typographic light boxes to use as the single source of light in the photo and with each flash revealing their word on them as reflection.
